THE LEGION OF LANCERS

The tranquil atmosphere of A’Famosa Resort in Melaka was broken by the sounds of rumbling lancers as approximately 30 cars from Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Melaka and Johor converged at the open air car park of A’ Famosa Waterworld for the inaugural MLOC Gymkhana Super Series 2010. Proudly sponsored by Defying Grip, Sunoco Japan Motorsport, www.tyrepac.com.my and Motorsport Playground, MLOC made history when it became the first car club to organize a gymkhana for its members.

Zoom, zoom and more zoom.  The RX8 Club held its annual Mega-Gathering of 2009 on December 13th, a true rendezvous in style.  The masses of RX8s began their convoy in the morning with a meet up at Sunway Pyramid.  With looks to drive for, the primmed up RX8s and their owners headed to the next stop, Putrajaya. 

Posing for the cameras, shots of models, groups and individuals were taken to commemorate not only the love but their enthusiasm for their cars as well.  We were there for the coverage of the highly touted event.  Bigger is better as the Mega-Gathering hosted by the RX8 Club delivered with an increasing membership of new and old RX8 owners. 

Diamond Zeus (hereinafter referred to as DZ) was formed on 2006 with the intention to join a Malaysia's local car competition named The Xtreme Nights (hereinafter referred to as TXN). The initial members of the group consist of only 3 members where 2 of them was the co-founder of the group. The 3 main cars back then which were featured in the competition were the Toyota Harrier, Toyota Wish and a Mercedes CLK. DZ was formed with the intention to compete in the vipstyle category and promote the vipstyle throughout Malaysia. Against all odds, it was also DZ’s first victory in the TXN competition where DZ won its first ever trophy in the Vipstyle category.

UDM - Ultimate Driving Machine. UDMowners is an automobile enthusiast forum founded by Chester Cheng in 2004. UDMowners is dedicated to owners and enthusiasts of BMW automobiles and all car make that one perceived as their UDM.
